Being part of Compassion Church doesn’t mean we all agree on all things at all times and that includes doctrine and what it looks like to follow Jesus. It definitely doesn’t mean we never have doubts or questions. we’re more interested in whether or not you are moving toward Jesus, knowing Him, being like Him, and living like Him than if you can mentally assent to a series of faith statements. That doesn't mean we don't have some essential beliefs that we hold to strongly and passionately. But our beliefs align with the historic church's traditional creeds: the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Chalcedonian Creed. They have stood the test of time as a standard of what Christians from every stream, culture, nation, and language of the Body of Christ have believed.
